Hollon LC-35J fireproof home safe
Hollon has introduced a new 1 hour UL rated fireproof home safe, the LC-35J.  The safe features a secure combination dial lock, 1 active locking bolt and 1 bolt hole in the bottom of the safe for anchoring the safe to the floor.  It has a 0.72 cubic ft. capacity, and features a pull out storage shelf (drawer) for conveniently storing smaller items.  The Hollon LC-35J also features seamless constuction of the body AND door, which minimizes the weak points associated with safes that use seams.  The LC-35J is a true composite safe — it features a solid steel outer layer and a solid steel inner layer.  Between these two layers is sandwiched a layer of concrete-like fireproofing material, which allows the safe to meet the UL 1 hour fireproof standard.
The UL fireproof rating is a higher standard than other ratings — the LC35J has been tested to withstand an 1850 degree F fire for a period of 1 hour without the temperature inside the safe rising above 350 degrees F.  This is a low enough temperature to ensure that your papers and other small valuables will not suffer any permanent damage in the event of a fire.  When you consider that the average wooden house fire is only 950 degrees F, you can see that the UL rating is indeed a much higher standard.   The Hollon LC35J weighs 97 pounds and measures 13-1/2″ x 19-1/4″ x 15-3/4″ on the outside and 8-1/2″ x 14-1/8″ x 10-1/4″ on the inside.  The safe comes complete with anchor bolt and mounting hardware.  As you can see, the Hollon LC-35J is an excellent safe — you’ll be surprised at its low cost.  For more information on the LC-35J, and information on where to buy, visit the following link:  Hollon LC-35J 1 hour fireproof home safe.
