Below is a little excerpt from the Honeywell Fireproof Safes website. I am posting this to give you an understanding of who Honeywell Safes is. Please note that the name Honeywell is a liscensed name. Can you guess from whom? Yup, I thought you could.
Before Sisco was selling under the name of Honeywell they used to sell Brinks products. Don’t know what happened to that agreement but they no longer offer the Brinks safes. You still may get customer service on your Brinks Safe but my guess is they are all out of warrenty and parts are becoming limited.
The Fireproof Safes are made in Tiawan or Chinese Taipei as they new owners of the island like to call it. (Learned that on the Travel Channel). Quality is very good but I wouldn’t call any of the safes “High Security”. They are more along the line of office safes, fireproof home safes, and waterproof safes.
“Since 1970, Sisco products have been providing consumers with personal security solutions to protect what matters most.

To see a selection of Honeywell Safes just follow here: small steel safes, 1 hour fireproof safes, 2 hour fireproof safes commercial use. Also the Honeywell executive fireproof safe which is a gun safe with lots of shelves but still can be used as a gun safe.
