The Total Defense Selects (TDS) line of gun safes from Stack-On incorporates a number of excellent features. TDS gun safes feature a UL-rated Type 1 electronic or Group 2 3-number combination lock. They also include a re-locking feature which will keep the safe locked even if the locking mechanism is entirely removed. TDS safes are also ETL fire-rated at 30 minutes up to 1400° F. They are also ETL water-resistance tested in up to 2 feet of standing water for up to 72 hours. For fireproof construction, TDS safes use UL classified Gypsum Wallboard construction and Palusol door seals which expand when heated. All TDS safes feature bolt-holes for bolting the safes to the floor.
For locking bolts, TDS safes use 7 large live-action locking bolts and 3 solid steel dead bolts on the hinge side of the door. The safes are painted with a high-gloss reflective finish with silk-screen accents for a rich appearance. TDS safes also feature patented gun-barrel rests which can be adjusted to match the length of the gun. The safes include pre-installed, fully-carpeted interiors. Shelves are fully adjustable, so its easy to make maximum use of the storage space inside the safes. The shelves can be arranged for storing valuables rather than guns, if desired. TDS safes are California DOJ-approved for firearms safety and fully comply with California Penal code section 12088.
There are 6 different models in the TDS line. The TDS-528 features a UL rated Group 2 3-number combination lock, and a high gloss reflective hunter green epoxy paint finish with gold accents and silk screen on the door. The TDS-528 measures 59″ x 29-1/4″ x 25-1/2″, has a capacity of 28 guns and weighs 532 pounds.
The TDS-828 has the same dimensions, gun capacity and weight as the TDS-528, but uses a UL rated type 1 electronic lock. The lock features lights for open, low battery and incorrect entry. It also features a time out period after 3 incorrect entries.
The TDS 536 features a UL rated Group 2 3-number combination lock, measures 59″ x 35-1/4″ x 26-3/4″, has a capacity of 36 guns, and weighs 640 pounds. It has the same paint scheme as the TDS-528.
The TDS-836 has the same dimensions, gun capacity and weight as the TDS-536, but uses the same locking mechanism as the TDS-828.
The TDS-545 features the same locking mechanism as the TDS-528 and 536, but has a capacity of 45 guns, measures 59″ x 43″ x 26″ and weighs 748 pounds.
The TDS-845 features the same dimensions as the TDS-545, but uses the same locking mechanism as the TDS-828 and 836.
